Private Premium Diagnostic Service
A new premium private service for diagnosing prostate cancer
Prostate Matters, working with A3P to develop a Premium service for Stockholm 3 patients with a high-risk score. The intention is that this eventually will be available across the UK.
The service will include:
- Being put under the care of a highly reputable Urological Surgeon, or in some cases a Radiologist, in every region of the UK who are open to all treatment options including Focal Therapy.
- An MRI of the highest quality reported by internationally renowned radiologists supported by the Lucida Medical AI system, Pi for detecting prostate cancer lesions when it becomes available.
- A Proclarix geonomic test for equivical MRI results to determine if a biopsy is required (This avoids unneccesary biopy)
- A transperineal fusion biopsy if required performed by the Urologist or Interventional radiologist the patient is under
- Following biopsy results, a virtual MDT to recommend treatment options to the patient.
These therapy options to include:
- Active Surveillance
- Focal therapy
- Robotic prostatectomy
- State of the art radiotherapy
Consultant Urological Surgeons and Radiologists who are are part of this service are committed to using Stockholm 3 as an a screening tool for high risk groups and where PSA results are not convincing.
