How to access Prostatype
Some private consultants in the UK are already providing Prostatype to patients who request the test. See the list below.
If you would like a Prostatype test, you can request that your private consultant organises this for you from Cambridge Clinical Laboratories. Alternatively, you can contact Cambridge Clinical Laboratories and ask them to contact your consultant to organise the test. The test will be done on the original biopsy tumour material, so there is no need for you to have any further procedures.
If you are under NHS care, you can still pay for a Prostatype test. You can ask your NHS consultant to contact CCL, or ask CCL to contact your hospital/consultant. You will pay CCL for your Prostatype test and the results will be returned to your NHS doctor.
