Where to get Nanoknife – irreversible exporation of the Prostate
Nanoknife is a new cutting edge treatment and can be viewed as an alternative to Cryotherapy, especially for smaller lesions.
Prost8 has a campaign to raise money, with the specific purpose of providing focal therapy (HIFU, Nanoknife and Cryotherapy) at 12 centres around the country.

Finally there is the PART trial, participating hospitals are listed below by region. The objective of the PART tria is to determine if partial prostate ablation/focal therapy (e.g., HIFU, Nanoknife) provides similar cancer control to Radical Prostatectomy, External Beam Radiotherapy or Brachytherapy while reducing functional side effects and improving quality of life. If you apply to join the trial, you will be randomly assigned to one of these treatments. REMEMBER YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION if you are not offered HIFU or Nanoknife. You can refuse and then ask to be referred to an NHS centre offering focal treatment.
If you are considering paying for the treatment yourself, an alternative to the main UK centres is the Clinic for Prostate Therapy, Heidelberg. The centre has 30 years of experience with focal treatment and at €16,000 is 20% cheaper than the £16,000 UK self pay rate. Surgeons offering HIFU in Heidelburg are listed below and speak excellent English.
