Where to access the Stockholm 3 test
Although widely used in the Nordic countries, Stockholm 3 is several years away from being available on the NHS, though there are plans to commence UK studies probably to be led by Mr Tim Dudderidge Consultant Urological Surgeon at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust.
As of today, Stockholm 3 is only available in the private sector at a current price of £395 for the test. Remember additional fees for phlebotomy (taking the blood sample) and appointments with a Urologist or GP.
Below is the current list of urologists and GPs where you can make an appointment and who will arrange the test and report the results.
Note, unlike Medical Diagnosis in London which has its own GPs, Cambridge Clinical Laboratories (CCL) are not Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered so can only really take referrals not direct tests from the public. However if you get a referral to them ,they will arrange for a blood test locally to you.
Finally,you should be aware that the ‘turn around time’ from taking the blood sample to receiving the results as around 20 days.
